Yes, I have bought the Nike Plus kit. Yes, I do go for phones that actually do more than just look pretty. Yes, I do use firefox, knowing full well of it’s capabilities. Yes, I do wish I had a Apple Laptop. Yes, I do want to try the B&G Samsung Serene. And I also want to offr them my congratulations in finally changing the perception about mobile phone designs – it’s about time someone took into consideration the ergodynamics of our hands and positions, and designed the phone around us, and not make us have to adapt ourselves to the phone.
Now, I know I’m a bit late as the phone did come out a while ago, but, is it just me, or have both Samsung and B&O been very quite about it? It didn’t get half as much publicity as it should have, I’m sure, consiering what an awesome break in design moulds it was.
For the meatime though, my new Sony Ericsson K800i (smart, sext, don’t insult your intelligence), will do me just fine. News on FM Transmitter is here
These guys are very good for gadgets

I can’t believe it. I didn’t think I was going to be able to do it, but I did! 10km in 58:57sec – that’s so awesome!
Am v.v. happy – and so got v. drunk in celebration. The whole day couldn’t have been better. Lovely weather, great race, smashing my record by 10 mins, drinks the rest of the day with friends.
I’m over the moon peeps. Bring on the half marathon in December.

Nike 10km Tomorrow
Quite nervous aboutthe race tomorrow. Hopefully, it’ll be good fun and I’ll run very speedily around the whole course, but I think I’m going to be v. disappointed with my time. I can already sense it. It’s quite depressing actually.
I went to the gym the other day and ran for 47 mins at 9.4km/hour constantly without stopping and my face turned purple. Not red. Not pink. Purple. It was grotesque. I felt so proud of myself for having run constantly at that speed as it was a real struggle past minute 40, but I did it, at a price of a purple face. Why can’t I look lovely after a run?
Wish me luck for tomorrow.

Gossiping about my Blind Date
As I was saying…
My blind date was lovely. He was tall (although I did have my heels on, and wewere about the same height on the night), and cute, and had a lovely smile.
But, apparently, he didn’t think I liked him. I didn’t go over to my friend’s house that night, which is where he was going, and because of that, he thought I didn’t like him! Humph! Slightly unimpressed by that, as it’s a bit arrogant of him to think that just because I didn’t go to my friends house I didnt like him. I have a life! I have other reasons for not going! I was going to Manchester v. early the next day, and getting stuck in the complete opposite side of London to where I needed to be the following morning (with a hangover no doubt), is not my idea of fun, no matter how fit you are.
Plus, I haven’t heard from him since. I’m honestly not bothered, he was sweet, but I’m playing the field as they say, and so if he texts – cool, and if he doesn’t – cool. And I promise I’m not just saying that.
So, the search for fun continues.

And so reader, I married him!
Not likely. Never really liked Jane Eyre, too soft. Give me the passion and pride of Heathcliffe and Catherine or Elizabeth and Mr Darcy any day.
First blind date. Ever. Quite embarrassed about the whole act of going on one. It was made slightly easier by the friends I had around me, and the alcohol. Inebriation is definitly a good way to increase the confidence. And dance like an idiot. And not remember quite what you said to him. And be able to forgive yourself for all of the above because he was late and I was drunk.
On the plus side he was gorgeous – at least what I remember of him. And he was very nice. I think.
I’m going to have to go into more details on the date tomorrow, I’m sleepy, and tomorrow I have to wake up early.
Sleep well readers.

Yep, I signed up to a race a guy first to reach 30miles and I won – woohoo! Normally I wouldn’t shout about it, but I really am not very good at running and so it’s quite nice to finally win something.
Next race is first to reach 100 miles – hmmm, not quite as easy, but still worth a shot.

Making my Music to Collect List
OK – so, now that I’ve got my iPod Nano, I want to finally buy and collect all the music and albms that I’ve been meaning to buy for ages. However, as I go along, I always forget what I still want to purchase so I’m going to make a list of Music I Would Like To Own. I have however just found this 50 most influential albums blog, which has helped me putmy list together.
Hopefully I’ll be purchasing these online, through iTunes, in second hand shops, in music stores with good deals on, and soo have all the basics I’ve been missing for sometime.
Let the list commence (and in no particular order).
- David Bowie
- Stevie Wonder
- Prince
- Miles Davis
- The Clash
- The Ramones
- Beastie Boys
- Basement Jaxx
- Jeff Buckley (have it on tape)
- Kate Bush (The Whole Story)
Other albums still to be added, I’m sure.

Writing about Madonna.
I went to see her on Thursday, after about 10 years of wanting to see her, and she didn’t disappoint. I’ve seen Madonna in concert – how exciting! I was excited before I saw her, and now I’m just excited that I can say that I’ve seen her during the Confessions on aDancefloor tour. Yay!
Anyway, the concert was very disco orientated, which is an excellent theme as it gives you so much room to play with regarding disco balls, roller skates, leotards, etc. She looks like she was having a great time through the whole way through, and it was really nice to see her playing the guitar during a couple of the tracks. She sang ‘New York’ during the set, which is one of her weaker songs in the new album, but she definitely didn’t disappoint the crowd by including some of the old classics from Immaculate Collection and earlier albums. She did try to disco-up ‘Erotica’, which didn’t really do work for me. However, I can now say I’ve seen Madonna, and she was excellent.
I can tick one off my list of things to do before I die

Agh!
Oh no. I’ve just added a category called ‘Hoes’. Pants. I was meant to write shoes, but forgot the S as you can tell.
If any one knows how to delete unwanted catergories, please let me know.
Cheers.
